Capers of Naples Florida was born Oct 29, 2012.
The business is a culmination of 30 years and 6 different restaurant and catering concepts in the Annapolis Maryland area.
The owner, Garry Anderson, sold his last business in Maryland, Garry’s Grill, and moved to Naples in 2008. After spending a couple years in retirement, he decided to open another restaurant in Florida.
His son, John decided to join the team shortly after opening.
Capers serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, and the menus are an accumulation of all the previous restaurants developed over the 30 years.
The philosophy of Capers is to utilize all the successful elements of the past business, and to bake breads, muffins, desserts on the premises. Homemade jam and soups, and of course our crab cakes, are also made on premises in the “from scratch,” kitchen.
